Heath Care is already broken don't make it worst

OK Lets put all the safe drivers in one company and lower their rates. Then all other drivers will be in another with much higher rates because they're a risk. Or sell hurricane insurance to Florida separate from regular home owners in other areas of the country. That pool would shrink and rates would skyrocket. You see insurance works on pools . Everyone trows their money in big pool, low medium and high risk . Then if something happens and claims are made they go to pool and pay. Everyone pays rates on a sliding scale the lower the exposure to claims the lower the rates. Rates in Westchester NY are far less than Ft.Lauderdale Fl. Not many natural disasters occur in NY but they help pay for them in Florida from the pool. That's what makes it a viable business everyone comes out ahead Low rates in NY help keep Florida rates down. And the companies make money. Partitioning pools will only hurt the consumer with any risk. Low risk low rates low claims low pay out. And visa versa.
What Trump did has given the opportunity for low risk to leave pools that kept rates down for people at risk. The sick and elderly. You are suppose to grow pools not shrink them.Yea it's gonna lower rates but for the HEALTHY  another effort to sabotage the ACA just like reducing the advertising budget for open enrollment by 90%. Yes it's true health care is broken but don't make it worst by signing inane orders.

What psses me off

There re lots of things that piss me off mostly because they are dishonest and sucker the unaware. I see this TrackR thing on ads on Facebook were is says find your...whatever. Locate it after it is lost or stolen. What they don't tll you is that it's a Bluetooth connection and has only the range of a Bluetooth device. Then they go on to say that you can find it on a map with it's last know location. meaning that someone with the app has  have to been with in range and that the device wasn't moved after that and did not encounter another person with the app in range. The advertising is deceptive they do explain all of this untill you read into it. but I guarantee there are many that just look at ad and buy. It's good if you want to locate your keys in the house but don't say you can "track' things.

#2 is this "FREE" stuff just pay S&H, besides the fact that S&H is always exorbitant,  they will with the credit card info, enroll you in a recurring payment plain for the product. Of course it is always plainly writen but it takes some diligence to find it out. And you will have to call to cancel.

#3 is thes modern day packaging that to you need a Jaws of life to open.

That's all for now but I am sure I will think of more.

Then and Now

Today I was zipping around in my Veloster and I remembered years ago when I looking for a car for my retirement I wanted a big old boat type of car like you see all those old retired guys  drive. So I brought a mid-sized  automatic for cruising around.  But now I'm in the real
retirement age zone I got me a little turbo driven 6 speed  Veloster. Not a Ferrari  but fun to drive AND fits all my camping gear. It's just funny how your thinking will change with        time.

After the storm

I knew I had this blog account for a long time. I know I enjoy writing and thought hat it would be cool if I started "blogging" Right now I have no pressing thoughts. But when I do I will come here.
